Seasons 4 and 5

In 1984-85 and 1985-86, NHPTV actually divided the show into two "mini-seasons", with the winner of the fall season playing the winner of the spring season in the SuperChallenge.
This arrangement created some confusion, as each of these mini-season was numbered. And press reports often crowned the winners of these mini-seasons as "champions", but since there was only one SuperChallenge, there is only one official champion.
For simplicity's sake, the two mini-seasons have been combined here, since there was only 1 SuperChallenge champion crowned in the 1985-1986 school year.
